7th grade is beginning a Mythology unit. We will be reading a lot of classic and contemporary Greek myths and writing our own. Students will be learning about the elements of a myth and a lot of neat information about the Greek Gods and Goddesses.
Also, each day in class, the students have 10-15 minutes to read a book of their choice. Ask your child what they are reading during this time. We are always trying to add to our classroom library if there is anything from home you would like to donate!
The number one way to become a better reader is to READ, READ, READ!
